Opportunity Fund Guidelines

The steps jurisdictions must take to receive funds are as follows:

Step 1: Adopt inter-local agreement between the jurisdiction and the Flood Control District.

Step 2: Submit approved ILA to the District

Step 3: Submit a notice of intent to request funds

Step 4: Submit a proposed scope of work

Step 5: Submit progress reports and reimbursement requests

Step 6: For final payment submit project completion report

While the majority of the Opportunity Fund allocation is paid on a reimbursable basis following submission of a jurisdiction’s invoice, there are provisions to allow for some advanced funding.
